- Everyone should read the first letter in the book
- Everyone should select 3 letters from the book

- Discussion of Letters to a Young Writer

- key takeaways from each letter in the book in the order listed on sign-up (think of this as the one thing you think everyone should know about that chapter/letter)
- Letter #2 due in class
- Assignment: Letter #3
